TDNC1270 Teak Dining Chair
The TDNC1270 Teak Dining Chair is a beautifully proportioned solid teak dining chair with a tall, airy backrest. The back is built from five evenly spaced vertical slats running cleanly from the seat to a gently shaped top rail — creating a balanced, classical silhouette that feels lighter than a solid-panel back while still offering excellent upper-back support. The slats also allow air to pass through the chair, a practical advantage in the Sri Lankan climate.
The seat is a single flat solid teak slab, generously sized for comfortable everyday dining. The straight square legs are reinforced with low stretchers running between them for excellent long-term stability. The entire chair is finished in a warm honey-brown teak tone that brings out the natural grain.
Built using traditional solid teak joinery for long-term strength, the TDNC1270 is naturally resistant to warping and insects, and works particularly well in traditional, transitional, modern, and country-style dining rooms — pairing comfortably with both classic and contemporary dining tables.

Care Instructions
Dust the teak frame regularly with a soft, dry microfibre cloth along the wood grain. For deeper cleaning, wipe with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately — never leave water sitting on the surface. Apply a quality teak oil or furniture wax every 6–12 months to nourish the wood and maintain its natural lustre. Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight to prevent fading, and away from heat sources to prevent the wood from drying out. Avoid dragging the chair across rough floors — lift to move. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
