TDC1261 Teak Display Cupboard — View 1

TDC1261 Teak Display Cupboard

The TDC1261 Teak Display Cupboard is a beautifully detailed display piece built entirely from solid teak. The upper section is a single-door glass-panelled showcase with a distinctive carved diamond-lattice wooden overlay running across the front panel — turning the door into a piece of artisan woodwork in its own right. Side glass panels allow natural light to pass through from both sides, illuminating whatever you display inside, and the interior features built-in shelves for your collection of glassware, decorative ceramics, family photographs, awards, or treasured pieces.

A carved decorative crown moulding at the top, complete with a shaped pediment, gives the cupboard a stately, slightly classical silhouette that catches the eye in any room. The lower section is a smaller single-door enclosed cabinet, with the door carrying matching carved diamond-lattice detail that ties the two halves of the piece together visually — perfect for storing items you'd rather keep out of sight. Decorative carved teak columns flank both the upper and lower doors, adding a refined architectural feel.

The entire piece is finished in a warm natural teak tone. Built using traditional solid teak joinery for long-term strength and naturally resistant to warping and insects, the TDC1261 is a true heirloom-quality piece — equally at home in dining rooms, living rooms, and entrance halls in classic, traditional Sri Lankan, and colonial-inspired interiors.

Care Instructions

Dust the teak frame regularly with a soft, dry microfibre cloth along the grain. Clean the glass panels with a soft cloth and non-ammonia glass cleaner — spray onto the cloth, not directly onto the glass, to keep moisture away from the wood frame and joints. Wipe the wood with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Apply teak oil or furniture wax to the wood every 6–12 months. Lubricate door hinges periodically. Avoid placing heavy items on the upper shelves — distribute weight evenly. Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight and high humidity.
