The TDNC1134 Teak Dining Chair is a character-rich dining chair where solid teak meets traditional Sri Lankan carving craft. The defining feature is the tall backrest, a solid teak panel with a beautifully hand-carved decorative openwork at its centre, featuring flowing scrollwork and curling motifs that catch the light and give the chair a strong artisan personality. The carving turns the otherwise simple panel into a focal point that doubles as ornament and ventilation.
The seat is built from horizontal solid teak slats set within a sturdy frame, a thoughtful detail that adds visual rhythm and keeps the chair feeling cool in our climate. The square legs are reinforced with low stretchers for excellent everyday stability. The entire chair is finished in a rich golden-honey teak tone that highlights the natural grain.

Care Instructions
Dust the teak frame regularly with a soft, dry microfibre cloth along the wood grain. For deeper cleaning, wipe with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately, never leave water sitting on the surface. Apply a quality teak oil or furniture wax every 6–12 months to nourish the wood and maintain its natural lustre. Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight to prevent fading, and away from heat sources to prevent the wood from drying out. Avoid dragging the chair across rough floors, lift to move. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
