Description

The NDNC1231 Nadun Dining Chair is a tall, elegant high-back dining chair crafted entirely from solid nadun wood. Its upright backrest is framed by solid stiles and topped with a clean rail, with a row of evenly spaced vertical slats through the upper section that give the chair an airy, contemporary rhythm while keeping a supportive feel.

Below, a slatted seat provides a smooth, comfortable sitting surface and shows off the natural grain of the nadun. Sturdy square legs are braced with reinforced stretchers on the sides and front, delivering solid stability for years of everyday use.

Measuring 18.5 inches wide, 17 inches deep, and 40 inches tall, the NDNC1231 brings a graceful, upright presence to the dining table. Nadun is prized in Sri Lankan furniture for its density, strength, and rich natural grain that deepens beautifully with age, so it pairs just as well with a traditional table as a modern one, adding lasting, artisan-made character to your dining space.

Care Instructions

Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth and clean spills immediately using a damp cloth followed by thorough drying. Avoid placing the chair in direct sunlight or near heat sources to prevent warping or fading. Periodically apply quality furniture oil or wax to nourish the wood and preserve its rich, warm finish. Use felt pads under the legs to protect your floors, and avoid dragging the chair to prevent joint loosening. With proper care, your solid nadun chair will retain its elegance for generations.
