Welcome to Lakshan Furniture. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of lakshanfurniture.lk and any purchase you make from our showroom in Kegalle, Sri Lanka.

By browsing this website or contacting us to purchase furniture, you agree to the terms set out below. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

This site is provided for browsing our product catalogue and getting in touch with our showroom.

• You may view, download, and print pages for personal, non-commercial reference.
• You may not reproduce, republish, or resell any part of the site without our written permission.
• You agree not to use the site in a way that could damage, disable, or interfere with its normal operation, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it.

We take care to describe our products accurately, but the following applies to every item shown on this site:

• Natural variation — solid-wood pieces (teak, nadun, mahogany, and similar timbers) have natural grain, colour, and knot variation. The finished piece you receive may differ slightly from the photograph.
• Dimensions — measurements listed for handcrafted furniture are approximate and may vary by roughly 1–2 cm.
• Stock — availability is updated regularly but may change without notice. If a product is out of stock, we will let you know at the time of enquiry and offer a pre-order or alternative where possible.
• Prices — all prices are shown in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and are subject to change without notice until an order is confirmed at our showroom.
• Images — product photographs are provided as a visual guide. Colours may look slightly different on screen depending on your device.

This website is a catalogue only. Orders are placed and finalised in one of the following ways:

• In person at our showroom in Kegalle.
• By phone on +94 71 913 4770 or +94 77 983 9328.
• Via WhatsApp.

A binding purchase is created only when we have confirmed price, delivery details, and payment terms with you directly. We reserve the right to decline any order.

Payment is handled at our showroom or by bank transfer arranged directly with our team. We do not accept payments through this website and never ask for card or account details online.

For made-to-order or pre-ordered items, a deposit may be required before we begin production or reserve stock. Any deposit terms will be explained at the time of order.

Delivery within Sri Lanka is arranged directly with our team. Delivery times, charges, and access requirements depend on your location and the items ordered. Full details are on our Delivery page.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Please inspect items on arrival and report any transit damage to us straight away so we can help resolve it.

Warranty cover varies by product and manufacturer. Where a warranty applies, it is noted on the individual product page (for example, Nilkamal plastic chairs carry a 3-year manufacturer warranty).

Warranty claims must be raised within the warranty period and are subject to the manufacturer's terms. Everyday wear and tear, misuse, exposure to extreme conditions, or damage from incorrect assembly are not covered.

Our returns policy is set out in full on the Return Policy page. In short, we handle every case on its individual merits and will work with you to reach a fair outcome.

All content on this website, including the Lakshan Furniture name, logo, product photography, written descriptions, and page layouts, is owned by us or licensed to us. Third-party brand names shown on product pages (for example, Nilkamal, Piyestra, Phoenix, Arpico) are the property of their respective owners.

You may not copy, redistribute, or use any of this content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

The site may link to third-party services such as WhatsApp, Facebook, TikTok, and Google Maps. We are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of any third-party site. Please review their own terms before using them.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Lakshan Furniture is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or from information shown on it. Our total liability in relation to any confirmed purchase is limited to the price you paid for that item.

Nothing in these terms excludes any statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These Terms & Conditions and any purchase made through us are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Sri Lanka.

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL, with the effective date shown below. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
